I remember seeing a report somewhere where COMAC officials spoke of 1800 total upto 2042 with 700 aircraft of the standard length variant, 600 of the stretched variant - which means around 500 of the shortened High-altitude version (A319 analogue).
- Is Vietjet getting some COMAC aircraft (?!) - Airliners.netKey systems of the C919 come from reliable Western suppliers. I don't expect a huge order, but they'll probably lease aircraft and give them a fair try. As for those who suggest politics, Vietjet is a private airline, not a state-owned airline, that's competitor Vietnam Airlines.

They say in 2023 will deliver about 5，China Eastern plan daily C919 service to main cities in China late 2023 Any updates on the 4 aircraft that were not delivered yet? To my knowledge, only 1 aircraft was delivered in 2023. 2023 is almost over, there are just 4 months left of 2023.
- COMAC sales campaign and orders (C909, C919, C929) - 2025The C919 is the newest one, with a 1000+ reported orders, but whether all of them will be fulfilled is a different story. Even Aeroflot attempted to save face and operate Russian aircraft for a bit before disposing of their fleet fairly quick and not taking any further examples.
