- C2 front wheels 15" max backspacing? - CorvetteForum2020 C2 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified We have been running a 15" x 6" wheel, with a 3" backspacing, 215 65R 15 Goodyear Eagle GT tire, and have never had an issue. A 6" rim with a 3" backspace would put the outer side of the wheel and tire in the same location as a 7" rim with 4" backspace, as far as I understand, so it should work.
