Bushmaster replaced the entire rifle. The new rifle seemed to function ok for about 50 rounds until it failed to to extract a piece of fired brass. I placed the rifle butt on the ground and pushed hard on the cocking knob which promptly broke off. Bushmaster replaced the cocking knob for $7.35, or so. I traded it back to the shop I got it from.
