- Almost new bass day! Bruce Thomas Profile Bass orderedI just put my order in for a Bruce Thomas Profile Bass, in salmon pink of course. Setup is Friday, then they ship it on Monday from the UK to the US. Hopefully it will show up not too long after that. The guy said it could take less than a week. I'm getting it set up with flats, to contrast with my rounds on my other basses.

It was a tremendous value since it came with an extra set of strings, tools, a Bruce Thomas book, a nice gig bag and the bass. I did not do a side by side comparison but the BT bass seemed to have a slightly smaller body than a traditional P Bass..
- NBD - Bruce Thomas Profile - TalkBass.comAlso has an Ebony board, which is an added bonus as far as I’m concerned. The pickups sound rich and warm and it’s well setup already. Nice touch - it comes with a note to say that Bruce is signing copies of his book and one will be forwarded on to me once they get them. It also came in a fairly decent gig bag.
