Since I have to give a presentation, I was wondering whether any of you could give me some clear guidelines on how to determine when to say "Good morning / afternoon / evening / night everyone", i.e. what time each one begins and ends. I suppose (an hope) I won't have to use "night"...

After you coments, it seems that tataku is used for non-melodic percussion instruments (except very old ones like tsuzumi), fuku for wind instruments that don't have a piano-like keyboard and hiku for wind and percussive instruments that have a piano-like keyboard (from accordion to vibraphone).

"know" is intrinsically stative, therefore sentence #1 is correct and could be paraphrased "Maybe you already know or that) I am no longer with the company."
- stair/stairway/staircase/stairwell | WordReference ForumsAll of them fit this context (stair would have to be "stairs" though). In my opinion, stairwell sounds like stairs in a building (like a fire exit), and staircase seems more like stairs in a home, or a small set of stairs.
