Bookmark or Share- BOX4 (depreciated!) - VideoHelp ForumBOX4 v0.7.0.0 (beta 7) Added 'Drag and Drop' to the main interface - you can drop files directly onto BOX4. Modulated the input routines. Made the input collection more robust and linked continuity between input folder,file,D&D. Profile behaviour has been changed: The default profile for all input files is now set within the PROFILES window.
- How to convert MKV to MP4 (Without losing subtitle)If your player supports soft-subtitles in mp4 you can try BOX4. (BOX4 is based on ffmpeg) Some players support external .srt files instead. Then you must convert the subtitle to an .srt file (open .mkv in SubtitleEdit, select subtitle and save as .srt). Name the .srt exactly as the .mp4 except the file extension.
- Adding subs and chapters to mp4 - VideoHelp ForumBOX4 appears to not deal with chapters at all. I can find no settings inside BOX4 to tell it how to deal with chapters. In testing, if you feed it an MP4 with chapters embedded, it will strip them out in the remux it does. I can't see that BOX4 will help in any way with adding chapters.
