I’ve seen BOP creds, and you don’t need anything more than that. Try to make an arrest … you’re not trained for that, and have extremely limited authority. If an arrest is made on prison grounds, it’s the USMS, FBI, or OIG.

FBI is one of the biggest with 1811's and they have 10-13K Agents. BOP has 36,000 staff. While everyone in BOP is on the FED LE Retirement BOP has the most non supervisory LE positions Below GL10 than anywhere else.
