Bookmark or Share- Bonita, linda, hermosa, bella, and guapa: what's the difference?Bonita (or bonito, not commonly used for men): Used both for people and objects. Beautiful. Sometimes it is better not to use this word with a woman because she might think you are treating her as an object. Hermosa (hermoso): Beautiful face and body. Many years ago it was used to say that somebody looked healthy, not thin, with good skin color.

- Bonito/Bonita: only for *things*? (Spanish from Spain, please)While it is correct, we favor "guapo/guapa" for people, unless you are talking about babies. It could still be okay to address as "bonita" to a young girl, but if would sound awkward for men. So, it is not just used for things, but when addressing people and almos always "people of short age". You can definitely say. Bonito!
- verbos - Usage of "ver(se)" for "to seem/look" (te ves, se te ve, te ...Te ves bonita. Se te ve mal. Te veo bien. For the reflexive constructions, the WordReference entry for verse doesn't seem to even include these senses (although their forums have many threads on the topic). What exactly do the three forms above mean, and how are they used in general?
