Bookmark or Share- Conibears for Bobcats - Michigan Sportsman ForumFor many years I have run strictly #3 & #4 longsprings in cubbys for bobcats. I normally get my 2 bobcats every year but it takes quite a bit of time. I'm thinking that going into to my trapping area every other day on my snowmobile is spooking the cats. I decided this winter I want to set conibears and check maybe once a week.
- Bobcats in paBobcats, like the new and improved Eastern coyotes, are making inroads into PA. Unlike the eastern coyote, bobcats are actually native to the area. That said, never take ANY predator for granted. They are ALL dangerous, and should be treated with respect.
- Shotgun load for Bobcat - Michigan Sportsman ForumHeaded north for a first they on a cat. Will be calling in swamp area. Do not have a small caliber rife other than 223 but do not want to blow up belt if I am lucky to get a chance.
- Bobcat Sightings in Metro Detroit Area. - Michigan Sportsman ForumTotally unrelated and not bobcats but I was surprised that in India, even large cats like leopards are prevalent in ultra urban Delhi and Mumbai . Cats can be pretty adaptable to environments where cities and countryside rual areas are in close proximity. There are plenty of prey and food in Detroit city limits that would fit the bill for bobcats.

Keep in mind I'm talkin' BOBCATS rather than Puma concolor. :lol: "I am glad to say that I have been able to spend a large part of my life where wild things lived in freedom, in northern scenes where they belonged."
