But Blink 182 was more radio-friendly, had more corporate backing, etc. Blink 182 was in heavy rotation on MTV alongside Britney Spears and NSYNC. Not to gatekeep, but Blink 182 don't make real punk music. They just ape the style while singing about things teenagers in the late 90's wanted to hear.
