'Have a keen eye for a bargain' is an idiom within an idiom and apparently count. Have a keen eye for detail is a longer set expression, and obviously uses the non-count version of 'detail'. However, this does nor indicate that 'have a keen eye for details' is in any way wrong.
- What does the term "Wouldn't blink twice" mean in context and what is ...“Wouldn't blink”, in forms like “wouldn't blink an eye” and “wouldn't bat an eye/eyelash/eyelid” connote not reacting or responding, ie, failing to show surprise. “Wouldn't think twice ” means not having to give something a second thought; ie, not having to reconsider something, because it is so obvious or clear in the first place.
- How did "owly" come to mean irritable or grouchy?However, the meaning is slightly different/more literal: owls, being nocturnal, will blink at you stupidly in the morning, just like a person who has just pulled an all-nighter. The only crankiness involved is implied rather than stated outright: people who haven't slept enough tend to be out-of-sorts and grouchy.

- word choice - "Most importantly" or "more importantly"? - English ...So, you compare 2 things and say which one is better. One should have at least 3 things, to state which one of them is the best. You could capture the same emphasis if you had said: "A picture says a thousand words, and does so in a blink of an eye!" PS.
