(PC) : r/Bioshock - RedditI got Bioshock 1 and 2 on Steam, both remastered versions and original one It's my first time on Bioshock franchise, never played any of the games before I have a decent PC so no worries about performance, I saw some comparison videos and Original version looks better in some areas and Remaster looks better in others, so I'm in a dilemma here
- You guys, is Bioshock 2 better than the first? : r/Bioshock - RedditThe first Bioshock was the story of Ryan and Atlas, but each level of Bioshock 2 puts another one of Lamb's cohorts in the spotlight, and I really like how it tells those different stories. I like how at the end of nearly every story, you can decide whether they deserve to live or not (but killing Gil Alexander should be the "good" option).

A lot of newer games with less time invested have taken longer to produce and come out, still, half assed and bug riddled. The Bioshock series has done great at delivering fantastically in-depth stories, spectacular scenery, characters that you actually give a shit about or seriously want to end.

None of them are bad games so it's worth playing through the whole trilogy (and don't skip the DLC! You'll miss out) The combat in Bioshock 2 is a lot better than 1 and really makes you think about preparation (setting traps etc) before each encounter.
- Is bioshock worth playing? : r/gaming - RedditTo me, Bioshock 2’s gameplay is arguably the best in the series and the story is…fine. The DLC for Bioshock 2, Minerva’s Den, actually has a great story though. It still doesn’t top out the first game, but I really do love Bioshock 2.
