Bookmark or Share- Swift Scirocco, Nosler Partition, Barnes TSX or others...So far the biggest test of the partition I have witnessed was on the big (1800lbs) moose I shot this past fall. Range was about 90 yards ( I didnt pace it off, just estimated ) Slight quartering to me almost head on. .338wm, 225 partition, 2800fps.
- Just got a new CC handgun, Sig P365 - Gun and Game ForumForget about it being a little snappy, just shoot it a lot and forget about it, if you need a glove, use a glove for a while, no big deal, once you get used to it any snappy will not be a a big deal. I have 3 single stack 9s. The smallest of all the Keltec Pf9, 11.7 ounces. Most people complain and move on, they are snappy, big deal.
- I don't think you will get more bang for your...I've priced ammo at my local Scheels. .17 HMR there is about 36 cents a rat. Mom and pop gun shops will never beat big box prices. I haven't yet checked Walmart for availability and price of both .17 HMR and .22 Win Mag. Buying ammo online will have these big shipping costs..22 LR is good for popping rats in the barn or barnyard maybe.
- Mangy | Gun and Game ForumLots of yippin and howls last night around 9:30 last night and I'm in Ma. Big increase in yotes last 10 years with more deer in my area. Seem to like hangin out in neighborhoods with thick woods around em. Can hunt em now through early March even with a rifle during daylight hours except during shotgun deer season when a shotgun is legal for yotes.
- Large rifle magnum primers | Gun and Game ForumI have a .308 Win - Ruger Varmint Target 26" Barrel for the range and got the WBY Vanguard 300 WSM 24" barrel for hunting anything big game here in America. It is a pure pleasure to shoot. And, reloading is a piece of cake.
