Bookmark or Share- Which is better, The Orville or Lower Decks? | The Trek BBSI only recently got into The Orville via Disney+, so I'm late to the party, but they're both fun shows. The Orville has come into its own expanding the universe it created, whilst often having homages to Star Trek. The one advantage that Lower Decks has is that it's an actual part of Star Trek.
- The Kelvin Timeline Starship Thread - The Trek BBSApr 1, 2023. #1. I'm not sure if the Kelvin Timeline ever got a proper Starship thread, beyond the various ones arguing over the size of Enterprise. So here it is, better late then never, a thread to talk about all the ships we'll probably never see again.... but it's a lazy Saturday and I clearly got nothing better to do.
- Lost Era Uniform Concept - The Trek BBSThe standard uniform is more colorful like the uniforms of TOS and TNG. Unlike TWOK's plain undershirt, it includes Starfleet and rank insignia for everyday use without the jacket. This uniform would be worn in most situations. I've also made a mostly black variant.
- Trek romances - the good, the bad, and the boring? | The ... - The Trek BBSOn DS9, I thought Kassidy and Sisko and Kira/Odo were great together. Dax and Worf didn't work at first, but I finally found the relationship convincing and touching in "Change of Heart" (a little late, but better late than never I guess). Bashir and Ezri being nervous like teenagers before finally getting together was cute too.

According to the TNG Technical Manual the maximum speed of a relay-boosted subspace transmission in the 2360s is 199,516c, or warp 9.9999. Assuming Cestus III has a good network connection, two weeks at that speed would put it around 7,674 lightyears from Deep Space 9.
