Bookmark or Share- Line and page breaks - Microsoft SupportSelect the paragraph that you want to follow the page break. On the Home tab in Word, or on the FORMAT TEXT tab in an Outlook email, select the Paragraph Dialog Box launcher . Select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Under Pagination, select Page break before. Select OK.
- Insert a section break - Microsoft SupportInsert a section break. Use sections breaks to divide and format documents of all sizes. For example, you can break down sections into chapters, and add formatting such as columns, headers and footers, page borders, to each.
- Change spacing between paragraphs - Microsoft SupportClick anywhere in the paragraph you want to change. Update the spacing between paragraphs without changing the whole document.
- Adjust indents and spacing - Microsoft SupportChoose Center to center text with a ragged left and right edge (Ctrl+E). Choose Right to align text to the right with a ragged left edge (Ctrl+R). Choose Justify to align text both left and right, adding space between words (Ctrl+J). The level at which the paragraph appears in Outline view.
- Change or delete a header or footer on a single pageDouble-click the header or footer area to open the Header & Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections. Select Header or Footer and do one of the following: Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer . Add or change the content in the header or footer.
