Azulejo (Portuguese: [ɐzuˈle (j)ʒu, ɐzuˈlɐjʒu], Spanish: [aθuˈlexo]; from the Arabic الزليج, al- zillīj) [1][2] is a form of Portuguese and Spanish painted tin-glazed ceramic tilework.
