Bookmark or Share- Hill Country Flyer - Austin Steam Train AssociationThe Hill Country Flyer departs from our Cedar Park Depot most Saturdays January- May and September- November. This route is our longest at 66 miles round-trip, normally departing at 9:00am and returning at 3:30pm. There is a 2-hour layover in Burnet for lunch and shopping on your own.

On board the train, your 44 mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15 minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot.

We offer four classes of service on most routes; Excursion Coach, First Class Coach, First Class Lounge and Adults-Only First Class Lounge.
