- Camp Spark Registration Open for Summer 2024 - City of AuroraAurora Fire Rescue today announced that registration is now open for this summer’s Camp Spark, a free three-day immersive fire skills training program for girls aged 11-19. Applications will be accepted until Friday, June 7.
- AFR Launches Priority Dispatch Approach - City of AuroraPartnering with Aurora911 and Falck Rocky Mountain, Aurora Fire Rescue today began a tiered response approach to how resources are dispatched for emergency medical calls. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, medical calls into Aurora911 are now dispatched according to the acuity of the incident.
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS) - City of AuroraEmergency medical service continues to provide Aurora Fire Rescue the greatest opportunity to serve our community. Each year almost 70% of the total Aurora Fire Rescue responses include medical emergencies.
- 20+ AFR Crews Awarded Phoenix Life Saving Award - City of AuroraEach year, Aurora Fire Rescue honors the crews who bring patients back after cardiac arrest. At the 2019 ceremony, more than 20 crews will be recognized for this achievement.
