- Astroturfing for Sound of Freedom : r/WeHateMovies - RedditChristian films are direct marketed to churches/groups who then organize trips and otherwise encourage their members to see these things, especially around the opening. Not really astroturfing unless tickets are being bought w/o people seeing the movie just to pump up the numbers (which could be the case for all I know, but seems pretty expensive).
