- Ascor® Ascorbic Acid Injection USPAsk for ASCOR ® by name, the only FDA-approved ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) injection. There is an ample supply of ASCOR ® and it can be easily ordered through authorized distributors or directly from McGuff Pharmaceuticals.
- Dosage and Administration - Ascor® Ascorbic Acid Injection USPASCOR ® vials contain 25,000 mg of ascorbic acid and the largest recommended single dose is 200 mg. Do not give the entire contents of the vial to a single patient. Do not administer ASCOR ® as an undiluted intravenous injection. Minimize exposure to light because ASCOR ® is light sensitive.
