Bookmark or Share- 5.56mm defensive ammo reccomendations | The High RoadThe AP ban doesn't classify AP rounds based on any kind of ability to actually pierce armor, but rather what materials are used in the construction. M855 doesn't use hard enough steel to be classified as AP, nor does anything used by the former Warsaw Pact nations. Brass and tungsten were summarily banned, however.
