Bookmark or Share- Apple 4K and HDCP issue - Apple Community - Apple Support CommunityI have an AppleTV4K directly connected to a Samsung TV. Sporadically (3-5/week) I do get the HDCP compliant issue message on my TV when trying to stream Live TV via my TV provider app. my Samsung TV 4K is a 2019 newer model. Here is what I have tried before without any success: tried 3 different high end cables; tried all HDMI ports on my TV
- AirPlay won’t connect to Samsung tv - Apple CommunityAirPlay is on. It’s on same network. But screen mirroring won’t connect to Samsung tv. Assuming your TV is a compatible smart TV, Try unplugging the TV for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again. While you are waiting, force restart your phone. Force restart iPhone - Apple Support.

I prefer to use the Apple TV 4K apps over the Samsung built in apps. The user experience of the Apple TV device is far superior. In fact, I don’t even use the Samsung built in apps at all. I don’t even use the Samsung remote. I use the Apple Siri remote for everything.
- Very dark image on 2021 Samsung 4k TV w/… - Apple CommunityOn the Apple TV, go into Accessibility/ Display and turn off 'Reduce White Point'. Now my Apple TV 4K HDR10 with Apple TV content is as bright as using the Apple TV app on the Samsung TV (2022 Frame). Not even sure why this option was turned on by default (I certainly didn't turn it on). No content/frame matching, with HDR10 enabled using 4:2:2.
- Itunes app for Samsung Galaxy phone - Apple CommunityOpen the Apple Music App. From the bottom of the screen, tap Library, For You, Browse, or Radio. Tap the three vertical dots. Tap Account Settings > Sign Out. Wait a moment, then tap the three vertical dots again. Tap Settings > Sign In. Let me know what you find. Best Regards.
