At present time it has 111,414 miles and it has been experiencing Louisiana climate since 1975. For the last 26 years it has been parked outside exposed to the elements as life moved on.

- 68 AMX tire size - The AMC Forum - Page 1yes!! way to tall in my opinion. i believe you will not be happy with that tire size on there. going to 15 inch is no issue as that is what i am going to do on my 69 amx. . my suggestion would be a 22560-15 if you were trying to stay close to the same tire height as the factory 14 inch diameter. i believe a 23560-15 will work front and rear also if you want a little more tire than that. good ...
- '68/'69 AMX...255/60R15 (rear tire size) - The AMC ForumI don’t know the exact widths but 68-69 are narrower than the 71-74 and I believe the Gremlin/Hornet AM20 was narrower than the 68-69 AMX/Javelin but could be swapped out. Please correct me as I am going from memory but the 68-69 was approximately 58”, the 70 56.5” and the 71-74 59.5”, flange face to flange face.
