Bookmark or Share- Alligator in Lake pickthorne? | Arkansas HuntingI saw an alligator in Bayou Two Prairie at the Kerr Rd. bridge a coupe of years ago, so it is definitely possible. I wouldn’t let that stop me from fishing there though, even in a kayak. Years ago a buddy and I would fish in Cypress Lake in a 2 man scamp. There was a 8’+ gator in there at the time.

Back in the 50's and 60's people bought these cute little 6 inch long gators or caymans or whatever for their kids and then when they started getting too big they released them into the parks and the woods (or, if you believe the legends, they flushed them down the toilets).
