Bookmark or Share- ALDI beer knockoffs | Community - BeerAdvocateLooks like it and other Aldi brews are brewed by Octopi brewing in WI, which is contract/branding focused. The owner of Octopi is also a co-owner of Untitled Art with Levi Funk. The owner of Octopi was previously co-owner of 5 Rabbit in Chicago, before being booted amid a slew of lawsuits.
- Pumpkin Ale | State of Brewing | BeerAdvocatePurchased as a limited release at Aldi for a budget price (I think $6.99). APPEARANCE: Dark brown, with a light khaki head that doesn’t linger long. No lace. NOSE: Strong pumpkin pie spice. Allspice, cinnamon..captures the pumpkin spirit most assuredly. TASTE: Heavy on the spices. Super-sweet and malty beer, almost overbearing on the palate.

- Chocolate Lava Cake Stout | State of Brewing | BeerAdvocateDrinkability/notes: To me it seems this might be a higher-ABV version of State of Brewing's Chocolate Stout, although I am not entirely certain of this. Overall, its quite good. I purchased this at my local Aldi, at $8.99 for a six-pack. While this is a bit higher than Aldi's usual price point, it offers good value for the price paid.
- Pils Legende | Wernesgrüner Brauerei AG | BeerAdvocatePicked this up at an Aldi's in Florida while on a trip. I can't fault it too much considering the low cost - 2 L for $6 (4 500mL cans). The appearance is excellent. I wish there was a little more aroma, but what I'm getting smells like a German pilsner malt. The taste is dry and refreshing, which makes the mouthfeel refreshing as well.
