- Planning to scan a lot of CD covers and needed some advice3. What is the ideal dimensions to use when resizing a scanned image for digital music cover art? I believe the most common ones are 1000x1000, 1200x1200 & 1600x1600. 4. Is it better to crop out the sides of a scan before or after resizing the image?
