Just to be clear - if "foaming bubbles" are just the clear liquid in the airlock, you should not remove it. That is 100% normal and desired. It's the CO2 from the fermentation bubbling up through the airlock. Removal and cleaning are only for when yeast makes its way up into the airlock. More @Wikipedia
