- Budget 12v air compressor system - The Truck StopThe air lines are high pressure, hard poly. 1/4 OD for the pressure gauge and supply from the harbor freight compressor. 3/8 OD from the air tank to the regulator. All 1/4NPT fittings. I had to get a 1/8 to 1/4 NPT adapter for the compressor. I followed the wiring from the diagram in the Viair manual.
