Bookmark or Share- Newly purchased Remington 700 ADL chambered in 7mm magThe ADL is also not bad at $500. I said before I paid $325 for a walnut stocked ADL in 82. As a matter of fact I bought mine at chain store too and for 30 years has never given me a problem. Rem made changes to the ADL line back then with non-jeweled bolt, cut checkering ,sling swivel studs, flared fore-end, and satin finish on wood.

- Vintage ('67) Remington 700 purchased ... new pics added!Looks like ya been doing good finding great condition more vintage guns. The ADL model lacked that black for-end tip of the BDL. Pretty decent looking piece of walnut too. Remington always seems to give a nice high gloss bluing on the older 700s. Think it was a hot dip bluing with polishing of the metal before bluing.

I don't believe Remington ever used the Fleur de lis. My first centerfire rifle at 14 was a Remington ADL in 243. Mine had the pressed basket weave checkering. It also had open sights on it and it had a high polished bluing.

Mine is an ADL bought back in 82 when they changed to a satin finish in the ADl with cut checkering and sling swivel studs added. Gettin hard to find these walnut stocked Rems in some of the newer stores. Heard walnut has become quite expensive for quite some time now.
