- Activison licensing? - Atari 2600 - AtariAge ForumsI just don't think Activision had any interest, wonder if they were even returning phone calls seeking old IP licenses outside of AtGames. Microsoft even less so. In order to have a buyer/licensor you need a licensee with even the slightest bit of interest in the idea, and Activision's Atari IP line has been under that umbrella for years now.
