- What Superchargers can I use on my 05' F150 5.4L? Cobra?I was wondering what supercharger will bolt onto my 5.4L Triton. I dont really care for the Roush and was looking at the KB superchargers. The main reason why I ask if a 03/04 Cobra Supercharger can fit mine is because the throttle bore is massive and I can get an oval Accufab for it and flow a hell of alot more then stock round throttle bodies ...
- How to improve sound system? - Ford F150 Forumdepends on what you want and how much you want to spend heres the break down of mine. $300 on pioneer 2din head unit (by it self it puts out 50 rms but not a clear signal) $150 for door speakers. $150 amp. $100 for all the odds and ends. i went with heavy gauge wire everywhere 2g welding wire for power and 14g for speaker wires.

When I turn The Engine off the red Battery light on the dash comes on. The Battery is new. The Alternator has been check out and is still working. I replace the plugs on the alternator wire harness. While the engine is off, I unplug.
- where is my voltage regulator?? - Ford F150 ForumIf not listed, then it is probably in the alternator. The Haynes book covers repairing alternators but I think you would be better off just replacing the alternator--from past experience I would get one with a warranty. UPDATE: I went out and checked my 1986 F150, and it looks like it has an external voltage regulator.
