The extra width from the belt loops helped to spread the firearm out over a larger area. It the same holster I use for a Glock 26 now. With a good belt, the Kahr would ride nice and snug up against your waist without really feeling it at all.

Right now I have the LCP but will work my way up to a P380 someday. You can fix this issue in this way..... Lay the pistol on its side on two small pieces of wood with the slide spanning the opening between the two sections of wood where the slide lock pin sits.

I have found that it depends on specific the pistol as to how sensitive they are to this requirement. I have an older K9 that does not care how it is loaded, but had a PM45 that was very particular.
