On a side note, we often say "tall" at the end of many heights. "He is 6ft tall." "The mountain is 8,000 feet tall." "That building is 3 stories tall." These do not mean that they are taller than other things that are comparable. It just means they are that much in height. He is 6ft. tall = he is 6ft. in height.
