Bookmark or Share- Celestion Gold vs Weber Alnico Blue Dog vs Weber Alnico Silver Bell in ...The Weber Alnico Blue Dogs are a little thicker in the mid-range to lower-mids and I feel would be a better fit for the Black Cat. FWIW: I typically prefer Alnico speakers in all my amps, but I recently picked up a Bad Cat Cub 15r with the Bad Cat V30.

I wouldn't worry about the T unless you were loading a particularly dark amp.

- Jensen P10R Reissue or Weber 10A125? - The Gear PageWeber's smooth cones are considerably stiffer than the old very thin smooth cones and make for a much warmer and less distorted speaker. Also a variety of ribbed cones for a range of sounds. Also all sound warmer than a true old Jensen or Rola, but I do like them.

The tone, volume and sound is much better than I had anticipated. One player in particular said it was the sweetest sounding Fender he had ever heard including the ones in his collection.
