The only people within any reasonable distance that can work on a Rover is the stealership. Those SOB's want $100+ just to read the codes. For what it would cost me to fix a system thats FUBAR to start with I could put a locker in the rear. I never liked the ABS anyway.
- D2: Three Amigos On At All Times After Shuttle Valve Switch ... - DiscoWebI had the three amigos on intermittently, until I got wrench happy the other night after replacing my CPS and decided to fit the shuttle valve switch as well. Now the three amigos are always on... I followed the video guide on Atlantic British - left the ABS unit attached and just manipulated it a bit to get underneath to the SVS.
- ABS Shuttle Valve Repair - DiscoWebTo deal with the three amigos on my '99 DII, I'm about to attempt the repair in this write-up to "rewire" the ABS shuttle valves, and wondered if anyone has tried it here, and if so, how it worked out? I did this to mine 6 weeks ago with the help of Jimmyjams and it fixed the issue.... TC works like new. Tested in 24" of snow last weekend in Va.

I've restored just about the whole truck at this point, now I just have to battle 3 Amigos. I started with the Option B bypass (ground one side of shuttle valve and splice other into the green/yellow on the modulator plug) - no dice.
