Bookmark or Share- Andrews Sportmaster- Paul DiNoto Tribute Build - RC GroupsI would love to give the Sportmaster Paul's favorite finish, which was silk and dope, but my silk and dope skills have been long dormant. This will be a Monokote (Neucover) finish. This will not be a detailed build thread. Just the highlights from time to time.
- Winter is coming! What will you build? - Page 3 - RC GroupsHere's the start of my CL-III. I'm augmenting Cleveland plans with Datafiles. I have been toying with the idea of making appropriate silkscreen masks to paint the lozenge patterns. I did silk screening in high school but can't source the 'lacquer paper' that was used. I may have to make my own using parchement paper to hold the lacquer.

Take offs are smooth as silk, the tail lifts and the plane rolls along in a scale manner. The rudder is effective at keeping the plane in the desired direction.

Other than that it is as smooth as silk and fly's perfectly. No shakes or wags.... I am really surprised I got it all right the first time. Using the Avian 120 ESC and the FC6250hx.
