Samuel Fuller (born August 12, 1912, Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.—died October 30, 1997, Hollywood, California) was an American director known for his gritty action movies. Fuller left school at age 13 and became a copyboy for The New York Journal under editor Arthur Brisbane. More @Wikipedia
