Bookmark or Share- Can we use the preposition "on" before "the night"?At before the night: When we are talking about the complete night. I was there at the night. In before the night: When we are talking about a period of time during the night. I was there in the night. Could you please tell me when we should use "on" before the night? I have asked this because I read it in the novel. From the novel (bad for you):

- The expressions "This Monday" and "Next Monday"This Monday can mean the Monday just passed (though we usually just say "on Monday") or the Monday coming. Depending on the context, the Monday just past can be said as "last Monday" especially if it's late in the week. But the Monday coming can be said as this Monday or next Monday.
