Bookmark or Share- How can I determine if a mirror is tempered glass or not?I have a full wall vanity mirror (70" x 42") in my bathroom wall. I need to drill some holes through it in order to install a vanity light. I realized that if the mirror is made from tempered glass it might shatter completely if I try to drill on it. The mirror probably is construction grade installed originally when the house was built in 1988.

- Add mirrored disk | TrueNAS CommunityHi All, In FreeNAS-11.1-U7 I am attemping to add a disk to a pool that only has one disk in it in order to make a mirror. However when I go to extend volume their is no selection available for mirror, just stripe, log, etc.. What am I missing? TIA, ~eric
- Need Help with ZFS Pool! Expanding Mirror VDEV with a Single DriveA Mirror vDev in ZFS is more or less immutable / un-changable sizewize. You can change the amount of redundancy in a Mirror vDev by adding or removing Mirror elements. But that does not increase storage, just redundancy. If you do buy another drive, preferably 6TB, you can add a second Mirror vDev of 6TB. This assumes you have the following:
