Bookmark or Share- LG Magic Remote - Can't change channels - AVS ForumThe TV set up tells me to toggle through each remote set up, #1, #2, #3, all the way up to #75 to try to see which one fits. I have to test 3 things to ensure it pairs and none of the remote set ups work. Any idea how to fix? I really don't want to have to use the xfinity remote for cable TV and the magic remote for everything else.

This is problematic if you want to directly copy IR functions to a universal remote. In my case, a Universal Remote Control MX-500. However, I discovered that you can force the LG Magic Remote to emit IR signals for most functions if you simply have the TV turned off.
- lg magic remote continually freezes - AVS Forummy lg magic remote continually freezes. lg instructs me to re-register it. i have numerous times and it still freezes indiscriminately. they sent me a new remote 3 weeks ago and it still happens. tv purchased 10/22/17. oled65b7p. current firmware 05.80.15. web os version 3.8.0.61106 anyone with similar issue and know how to remedy it?
