With powerful loupe I cannot see ( or hear ) anything untoward. It sounds good and runs true albeit the amplitude could perhaps be better. I didn't change the mainspring as I do not like the steel motor barrel jobs ( excuses, excuses !!

Practice with the tweezers and the loupe is paramount. Good luck. Tom

When things get this small it's even difficult to hold one of the tweezers open just the right amount so to be able to reach in between coils and grab the correct one at the correct spot -let alone trying to do two tweezers at the same time.

I use a 10x loupe to verify the pivot position, then, a regular (4x, 5x) to get my burnisher in position and then- I lift the loupe, sit back and concentrate on taking nice long strokes of the burnisher and bow.
