- Ventura and extended journaled - Apple CommunityWhen I went to erase my thumb drive, I got many options, that included Extended Journaled, so that exists. I have a 2TB Seagate. 1TB for Time Machine, and 1TB for sundry backup. When I went to erase the 1TB for sundry, which is Extended Journaled, I had many choices.
