Bookmark or Share- Rebaling | Hay & Forage ForumWe successfully rebale grass hay but no experience with alfalfa. Unless you have something in mind specific to prevent leaf loss, you will wind up with mostly bales of stems and a bigger pile of trash with the leaves. With stationary rebaling, trash build up adds a cleanup job. Hope you can find a solution. Shelia

- Best tedder out there? - Hay & Forage ForumVermeer (made by Lely) hook tines do the best tedding job, but I think Krone is stronger built. The inherent design flaw with most tedders is that the inner rotors take the most load so are the most likely to fail, but if they are driven with universal joints you have to work your way in from the end of the machine, dismantling everyting as you go to reach the failure point.
