Bookmark or Share- Pittsburgh's popular night clubs in the 80's (Bridgeville, Liberty ...On to the the memory lanes, guys. For those of you who used to enjoy going out back in the days when Michael Jackson's the king of discos, I'm sure you guys and gals can still remember the names of your fav night clubs back then. Girls with big hair and guys with mullet.
- Strip District Clubs That Have closed. (Pittsburgh, Liberty: home, to ...Wow! we are over thirty clubs and counting. Metropol was the first to open in 1988 and had a great run, maybe twelve years or more. That is great for a nightclub. Five years is a good run. Many of these places did not last a year. A bar seems to be a better investment than a nightclub. Nightclubs are trendier and trends change.
- Clubs on Houstons far west side, circa 1978-1982 (Richmond, Happy: club ...Visited lots of bars on Richmond Avenue strip of clubs. Saw it evolve over the years. Same as Westheimer constantly growing and changing. There were many other places I visited on the west side but that is all I can remember right now. Lots of fun back then. What was the name of the club maybe on Hillcroft where the Houston Oilers would hang out?
- Old dance clubs of San Antonio (Austin, Graham: live, mall, nightclub ...Chelsea's Street Pub...now that's a blast from the past. Closed or renamed dance clubs in San Antonio; remember Tejano Rodeo turned into The Atrium? Tejano Texas off Culebra and Tezel the old HEB. Broadstreet at the old Central Park Mall turned into Park Place with their fifty cent drinks on Wednesdays , had waaaaay to much fun there!
- Gone But Not Forgotten San Antonio Night Clubs UpdateCowboy Nightclub was at 5607 Kenwick Dr. on the corner of Kenwick and Joiner. Very early 80's hangout (80-82). This is not to be confused with Cowboys Dance Hall at IH 35 and Fratt Interchange. Cowboys was very small as clubs go. If you look on street view of Google Maps you will see just how small the club was.
