- The Hull Truth - Boating and Fishing Forum - pressed in Hub vs ...I actually wouldn't worry about that. Heavy isn't the term, I don't think. It's torque. The hubs I've spun have been on a 225 Mariner on an SKA 27' Fountain (those hubs were getting abused by having the props barking a lot) and 3 times on a Suzuki DF300, which is probably the torque-y-ist "normal" production engine that uses a pressed hub.

The actual length of the hull is about 16'8". Then the outboard bracket came out another 20" for a total of 18'4". The beam in the center of the cabin is +/-94". The front deck is around 46" deep.
