Bookmark or Share- How Google helps you delete data from your accountYou can automatically delete activity after it’s been in your account for a certain period of time. You can manually delete all activity from My Activity or filter by date and product to delete activity items or groups of activity. You can always delete activity manually, even if automatic deletion is turned on.
- Delete your activity - Computer - Google Account HelpTip: Some activity may expire sooner than the time frame you choose. For example, location info about your device’s general area and IP address is automatically deleted from your Web & App Activity after 30 days. Delete activity in other places. Your activity might be saved in places other than My Activity.
- Manage & delete your Search history - Computer - Google HelpOn your computer, go to your Search history in My Activity. On the left or at the top, click Controls. Under "Web & App Activity," click Turn off. Click Turn off or Turn off and delete activity. If you choose “Turn off and delete activity,” to select and confirm what activity you want to delete, follow the additional steps.

For example, location data may be saved as part of activity on Search and Google Maps when your Web & App Activity setting is on, and included in your photos, depending on your camera app settings.

View and filter activity by date, product, and keyword. Manually or automatically delete some or all activity. You can delete individual items, activity from a certain time frame, or all activity.
