Woody Harrelson Calls 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Visually 'Staggering'

Woody Harrelson gave "Hunger Games" fans something to get excited over, when he revealed that the visuals for the upcoming film "Catching Fire" are simply "staggering." Harrelson, who plays Haymitch Abernathy in the series, sat down with MTV News to talk about the big-screen adaptation of "Catching Fire," the second book in the Suzanne Collins trilogy. When discussing what viewers can expect, Harrelson hinted at some amazing visuals.

 

MGM's 'Magnificant Seven' Remake Has a Writer

According to Variety, MGM has chosen Nic Pizzolatto to write the screenplay for The Magnificent Seven remake that Tom Cruise is attached to star. It doesn't sound like Pizzolatto will work on the movie right away though since he's writing and producing True Detectives over at HBO. The series is directed by Cary Fukunaga and stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as detectives who are hunting a serial killer in the South.
