The trailer for the screen adaptation of "Water for Elephants" is out and it appears the proportions of the drama are huge.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Reese Witherspoon is attached to star in and will produce Terrel Seltzer's original screenplay Rule #1 at Fox Searchlight.

"Used Guys," the Ben Stiller/Jim Carrey project that famously died on the vine at Fox a few years ago, appears to be finding new life -- with Reese Witherspoon joining Stiller.

This week at the movies, we've got a war of the worlds (Monsters vs. Aliens, with voice work by Reese Witherspoon and Seth Rogen), a demonic abode (The Haunting in Connecticut, starring Virginia Madsen and Martin Donovan), and a royal rumble (12 Rounds, starring John Cena).

It seems that every role Reese Witherspoon plays is a huge departure from the one before it. Proof: Monsters vs. Aliens.
