Bad news for fans of Stephen King's Dark Tower series - it seems that J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof are no longer on the project.

When Ian McKellen said that "The Hobbit" scripts would be delivered shortly, he really wasn't kidding. Not only are the screenplays turned in, but the once-and-future Gandalf has read them both. McKellen spoke with Sci Fi Wire about the scripts, except that the role of Gandalf was particularly tailored to his sensibilities this time around.

Will the movie going public be able to see Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus as anything other than the last Heath ledger film? Does it matter if they don't?The way I see it, the movie gets a larger audience from trailers like this, the only one in existence that will ever read: "Academy Award Winner Heath Ledger." Universal Pictures has revealed the trailer for Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant , directed by Paul Weitz and opening October 23rd. The fantasy-adventure stars John C.
