When director Rupert Sanders was caught getting cozy with Kristen Stewart by the paparazzi, Universal was placed in a difficult position in regards to the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. Should the studio pretend nothing had happened and move forward with everyone on board, as awkward as that sound? According to Radar Online (via FilmSchoolRejects), Rupert Sanders has dropped out of Snow White and the Huntsman 2.

Peter Jackson announces in Facebook post that the third Hobbit movie has been given the greenlight. Originally, only two movies were planned but after completing principal photography a couple weeks ago and seeing a rough cut of the first movie and much of the second, Jackson felt a third movie is necessary to tell the story of The Hobbit in its entirety.
